Explosive Metal Working Group

DMC’s Explosive Metalworking business segment is addressing growing worldwide demand for explosion-bonded clad metals. With production facilities in the United States, France and Sweden, the business also has a growing international sales and marketing force, which is targeting new opportunities in Australia, the Far East, Europe and the Americas. As a pioneer in the development of explosion-bonded clad metal processes, The Explosive Metalworking Group, or Clad Metal Group, seeks to build on its worldwide leadership position both through new product development and the establishment of new applications for existing technologies. The Group’s three manufacturing plants in Mt. Braddock, Pennsylvania; Rivesaltes, France and Likenas, Sweden, provide the production capacity to address concurrent projects for an international customer base.

AMK Welding

AMK Welding has spent more than four decades providing advanced welding services to a range of blue-chip industrial customers. The business employs a variety of sophisticated processes and equipment to achieve a level of precision unparalleled in the industry. As a result, leading manufacturers of commercial and military aircraft engines have long relied on AMK for both production and repair services. AMK also has established a proficiency in ground-based turbine assembly welding, and in 2005, began commercial production work on a major turbine project for a large U.S. power-generation company.
