DMC DYNAplat | Burbach, Germany

DMC's German-based explosion cladding business unit, Dynaplat, has supplied high quality explosion clad products to the German regional market since the late 1960's.

The Dynaplat factory is located in Burbach which is in the traditional metalworking region of Germany between Frankfurt and Dusseldorf. Dynaplat Europe is very near some of the world's highest quality steel and alloy mills, and is close to numerous metalworking companies and enjoys access to excellent transportation facilities. Consequently the supply and delivery options are exceptional, both from the technical and commercial perspectives.

Dynaplat Europe began manufacturing explosion clad when their parent company Dynamit Nobel licensed the Detaclad ® technology in the late 1960's. Over the subsequent years, Dynaplat has established a reputation as a highly reliable supplier to the challenging German regional market. In 2007 Dynaplat parent entity, DYNAenergetics, was acquired by DMC bringing Dynaplat into DMC's worldwide group of cladding companies.

Dynaplat manufactures Detalclad® in a unique, underground shooting chamber that permits around-the-clock production regardless of seasonal conditions. Their expertise extends to a very broad range of metal alloys and product sizes. In recent years Dynaplat had broadened supply beyond the unique and challenging German regional market to the worldwide marketplace.
