Research and Development
Research and development projects are managed by technical teams in both the Clad Metal USA and Nobelclad facilities. Each facility is equipped with modern metallurgical testing equipment and high speed explosive measuring systems. DMC technology development is focused in two main areas:
>Process improvements improve reliability and reduce costs
>New product development
New product development efforts are primarily customer-need driven and frequently, partially or wholly, customer funded.
The DMC Clad Group Technical Team is comprised of senior technical staff from each facility. The Technical Team provides a venue for management to focus the corporate technical efforts on Big Picture needs.
